Rebecca Armacost has had a distinguished career with over 25 years of experience as an executive and senior leader in Global Human Resource Management and Organizational Development. Most recently, Rebecca served as the Vice President of People & Culture for a non-profit service agency and as Head of HR for a financial services start-up. She now functions as the Founder and CEO of AmaniHR, a boutique HR Consulting company with a mission to develop organizations by focusing on people. Rebecca has passion and experience in organizational change initiatives including mediation and conflict transformation, leadership development, corporate culture and diversity,
equity, and inclusion.
Rebecca holds a master’s degree in Organizational Development and Design from Fielding Graduate University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Furman University. She is a Master Change Agent through GE’s Six Sigma. She is certified as a Senior Certified Professional (SCP) through the Society of Human Resources Management and leads courses for other HR professionals pursuing SHRM certification. She holds many certifications in personal, leadership, and organizational assessments and training programs.
Rebecca has served in numerous leadership positions on non-profit boards where she champions the causes of women and children. She currently serves on the Shorecrest Preparatory School Board of Trustees. She is past Chair of the YWCA Tampa Bay Board of Directors, and President Emeritus of the Furman University Alumni Board of Directors. Rebecca’s favorite and most rewarding position is as the mom to 8-year-old son, Jackson.
