International Reseller Program
This page may be reached by invitation only.

The regular Reseller Program terms (please read) may pose challenges to participants in some countries and regions of the world who would benefit greatly from this training. Obstacles may include:

  1. Access to reliable broadband internet service is limited, rendering impossible the required web-based voice connection (VOIP) and observation of the PowerPoint presentation.
  2. The cost of online registration ($245 per line), despite its cost-effectiveness for staff training, may be prohibitive.
  3. Online registration by credit card may be impractical due to the lack of opportunity to use credit cards.

To overcome these challenges, MTI Webiversity offers this International Reseller Program (not available in the United States or Canada):

Reseller technical requirements:
  1. Reliable internet connection. Broadband is preferable, but reliable dial-up may be adequate. The PowerPoint presentation may be slowed if bandwidth is low.
  2. Voice connectivity. If the internet connection is adequate, the integrated VOIP service is best — call-in numbers are provided in the United States, Europe, and Australia. Skype (free download from www.skype.com) is a reasonable substitute. If internet connection is too slow to accommodate voice simultaneously with access to the webinar presentation, MTI will place a voice call to the Reseller's location at MTI's expense. (Voice connectivity will be tested and confirmed prior to the time of the webinar.)
  3. Voice amplification and display projection. If the participating group consists of more than approximately five individuals, equipment will be needed to enable a larger group to hear and view the presentation. There is no maximum group size of group assuming this equipment is used.
  4. Meeting room. A room with adequate seating. Individual desk-space is desirable for note-taking during the webinar.
Steps:
  1. Reseller and MTI mutually agree on a day and time for the special webinar. This information will be placed on the Reseller's dedicated webpage (see this sample), along with Reseller's direct contact, registration, and payment information.
  2. MTI will also prepare a banner similar to this sample, which the Reseller may place on its website and in outgoing emails:

    Webinar-based training programme

How to Mediate Employee Conflict Using Managerial Mediation
Including one-hour live interactive presentation by "Conflict Doctor" Daniel Dana, PhD
    Monday ~ 6 July 2009 ~ 0000 UTC

This special training programme will be hosted by NAME OF RESELLER in NAME OF CITY. Click here for more information.

  3. Reseller places the link to the dedicated webpage on its website, and uses the banner in any ethical (non-spam) promotional methods appropriate.
  4. Reseller's obligation to MTI is $495 USD (the regular private webinar fee), which may be remitted at least one week prior to the webinar by credit card or interbank fund transfer.
  5. Reseller may charge participants any amount desired to defray the $495 to MTI and to gain net profit on the venture. Payment is made directly to the Reseller by participants. Example: $50 fee paid by 10 participants would defray the cost to MTI, and additional participants would yield unencumbered profit for the Reseller.
  6. Reseller arranges for each participant to receive the webinar handout and other tangible resources listed here.
  7. Reseller is urged to facilitate a post-webinar discussion and application session, using the Discussion Leader Guide provided, which enhances perceived and actual value of the training program.

Regarding the matter of opportunity cost, Dan Dana will commit his time to the reserved date and forego other opportunities that may arise in the interim. A failed marketing effort by a reseller would, therefore, incur opportunity cost. The reseller is not expected to insure MTI against that loss, nor to compensate MTI in the event of loss. However, it behooves MTI to vet prospective resellers to determine their capability of achieving a successful outcome.
