International Study Tours

Combine Mediation Certification with Tourism
Visit America, Canada, Latin America, Europe, and Africa

MTI arranges Study Tours for groups of three or more people who wish to combine mediation certification courses from one day to five days in duration with tourism. Follow links from the Main Course List for full course details. See below for special pricing for Study Tours.

Organized groups in the United States may use this program to visit destination cities within North America or abroad.

Instruction is provided by a Certified Master Trainer of the Mediation Training Institute International, accompanied by extensive course materials.

Each member of the Study Tour receives appropriate official certificate(s) from the Mediation Training Institute International at an awards ceremony at the close of the event.

Locations:

North American destination cities include Washington DC, New York, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, Kansas City (Plaza), Nashville (Music City), Branson MO, Minneapolis (Mall of America), Boulder CO (Ski Country), San Jose CA (Silicon Valley), Saratoga Springs NY (Adirondacks) Calgary (Canada), San Juan (Puerto Rico), San Jose (Costa Rica), and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic). Courses in many other cities may also be arranged.

Courses in Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and Miami may be conducted in either English or Spanish.

European destination cities include Basel (Switzerland) and Strasbourg (France), where instruction may be in English, French, or German.

Middle East destination cities include Beirut (Lebanon), where instruction may be in English and French.

African destination cities include Nairobi (Kenya), Lagos (Nigeria), and Accra (Ghana), where instruction is in English.

Study Tours may be held in any city in the world with the addition of a surcharge to cover the trainer's travel costs.

Courses may be personally delivered by MTI President and mediation pioneer Dr. Dan Dana for a surcharge of $2000/day in Kansas City, Boston, Puerto Vallarta (Mexico), Tamarindo (Costa Rica), and other locations where he spends extended scheduled time.

Pricing and options:

View price list (equivalent to standard in-house corporate training). An additional program management fee of $1000 is required for groups of fewer than six participants.

Training venues and guest rooms can be provided at a full range of price options, ranging from 2-Star to 5-Star quality hotels, on a cost-plus-18% basis.

MTI can arrange international travel to the destination city, as well as introduce group leaders to local tour operators, on request. Training venues can be situated within walking distance of points of interest in many cities.

Full payment must be received at least 35 days prior to the first day of the Study Tour.
