Joaquín Salazar is a veteran Human Resource Management professional, with more than twenty years of experience in personnel work, consulting and training. He has an honors degree in Education and a Masters in Psychology from Dominican universities. He has worked in several multi-national companies among which are Gulf & Western Americas Corp., Consolidated Cigar Corp., American Airlines, Westinghouse and Abbott Laboratories where he is under a two year contract for H.R. administration.
He has been a college professor at the Santo Domingo Autonomous University, the National Pedro Henriquez Ureña University and the Bonao extension of the Pontifical Catholic University.
As a facilitator, he has conducted training management and supervisory seminars at Shell-WI, Inc. Company, Warner Lambert Dominicana, S.A., Falconbridge Nickel Mines, Ltd. and De La Rue, S.A. His specialties lie in the areas of effective management practices, people empowerment and productivity, management techniques and organizational development and mediation.
Joaquin offers the Self-as-Mediator Seminar and the Manager-as-Mediator Seminar throughout the Caribbean basin.
