Kikelomo Olaiya Doja-Ojo obtained her LLB (Law Degree) from the Lagos State University in 1993 and her BL (Bachelor of Law) from the Nigerian Law School in 1995. She thereafter cut her teeth with the Rotimi Williams Law Firm in Lagos from 1995-1996, and was with Yomi Okunnu and Associates for 1996-2001.
Between full legal practice covering all areas of law, she worked part time with The Good Shepard Community, a non-governmental
organization (NGO) created to address the problem of prison congestion and legal aid under a repressive military regime in Nigeria. She then joined the law firm of 'Niji Kazeem and Co. where she was mostly in corporate practice until she was appointed as a Lower Court Judge in Lagos in 2001.
In 2006 she attended a conference organised for all lower court judges in Nigeria titled "The Magistrate in an Emerging Economy." In 2007 she attended a course titled "Handling the Criminal Cases: The Nigerian Magistrate" at the National Judicial Institute in Reno, Nevada.
She is also a member of the Negotiation and Conflict Management Group, Lagos, Nigeria.
Judge Ola Doja-Ojo is married to Doja Ojo, a lawyer and a senior associate with the firm of Oluyede & Oluyede in Lagos, Nigeria. Their team spirit is admirable, as the dinner table may attest. They have a lovely daughter, Torera, which means "show off!"
