A certificate issued by the Mediation Training Institute International will be awarded to each participant of each seminar reflecting the number of contact hours.

Continuing Mediator Education (CME)
Each state maintains its own requirements for continuing mediator education. See these state mediator requirements. Typically, mediators may submit a copy of certificates awarded to their state authorities to receive CME's based on the number of contact hours.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE)
Each state bar maintains CLE requirements for attorneys practicing in that state. States have separate application procedures but requirements are quite similar. Approval need not be received prior to attendance. Request the application form for your state.

Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
PHR and SPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) has been approved for the Mediator Certification Course (35 hours), the Certification Conference (14 hours), the Manager-as-Mediator Seminar (7 hours), and the Self-as-Mediator Seminar (7 hours)

Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA)
Professional Development Hours (PDHs), Domain II, have been approved by the Employee Assistance Certification Commission for the Certification Conference, the Manager-as-Mediator Seminar, and the Self-as-Mediator Seminar. See PDH details.
