Court Personnel
Attorneys, judges, case managers, paralegals, special masters, collaborative lawyers, mediators, arbitrators, and others who are involved in the courts resolve conflict every day.
Judicial dispute resolution processes are shifting from adversarial toward nonadversarial, particularly in family, juvenile, and municipal courts. As this transition continues, it is increasingly important that court personnel understand the dynamics of conflict and its collaborative resolution. Legal procedures alone are not enough.
Track 3 - Train-the-Professional - is the most appropriate registration option for most court personnel. Individuals who are primarily interested in comprehension rather than workplace applications may prefer to attend the first day only — see Track 2a.

Continuing Legal Education — CLE's have been approved by several states. States have separate application procedures but requirements are quite similar. Approval need not be received prior to attendance. Request the application form for your state.
Continuing Mediator Education — 14 CME's. Consult your state mediation authority to request report forms and other details particular to your state.
MTI's Certification Conferences do not pertain exclusively to court-related dispute resolution, and may not satisfy your state's requirements for mandated training.
