Alan has more than 30 years' experience in training, education, government, and theater. He has been a teacher, supervisor, administrator, state agency senior manager, stage and film actor, model and entrepreneur.

Alan’s experience with mediation includes training on special education mediation with community dispute resolution centers across New York State and development of a Management Competency Development Framework on Conflict for the NYS Department of Transportation.

Alan helps clients use creativity, spontaneity and authentic communication to make meaningful and sustainable change. He applies principles of organizational improvement and the practices of dynamic training, structured story-telling, improv and theater to help people tap into their creative sides, learn to improvise and use their resources, collaborate and build teams, communicate with clarity, make their partners look good, and lead with authenticity and courage.

Alan does keynotes and conference presentations and has presented internationally in the UK and the Netherlands.
