In cooperation with PULSE Institute of Calgary, Alberta:
Beyond Leadership:
Boot Camp for Executives
A five day wilderness experience
for those aspiring to measure and increase
leadership potential
MTI recommends this five day experience for executives and other leaders searching for greater leadership challenges. Programs may be arranged on request for groups of ten or more individuals in organizations wishing to develop future leaders.
The PULSE Institute is dedicated to improving the quality of conversations in organizations. We believe that the quality of the conversation is a direct measure of the quality of the organization and that communication and conflict resolution core competencies of leadership.
What happens when leaders find themselves outside of their comfort zones? Fears, uncertainty, indecision, hesitation, adversity, chaos? Beyond adversity and beyond chaos is Beyond Leadership. Take the topic of leadership. Add in conflict and communication skills from the Managing Differences Seminar Series. Transport it to an outdoor venue for five days and nights in the Canadian Rockies. Mix in small party taskings. For flavour, mix the genders and then top it all off with a five star state dinner. The result is a specialized program called Beyond Leadership.
Overview
This "Boot Camp for Executives" is designed to bring participants out of their comfort zones to a new level of self understanding and sense of reality. A five day program in the picturesque foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains takes candidates from all walks of life, and all areas of business, and puts them together in close confines. The program, based on tried and proven military training practices, gives each student the opportunity to see how they will react and perform when the unexpected happens. Beyond Leadership gives participants the tools and skills to provide true leadership under these unfamiliar conditions and the ability to transfer those skills to their own organizations in every circumstance.
