Federal Dispute Resolution (FDR) Annual Conference
San Antonio, August 20-24, 2006

A Preconference Session titled "The Manager's Role in Conflict Resolution/Prevention" will be presented August 20 by Certified Trainer Andrew Pizzi of the Federal Labor Relations Authority. Enrollment will be limited to the first fifty participants — the same preconference workshop at the 2005 FDR Conference was full.

The session consists of Modules 1 and 3 of the Manager-as-Mediator Seminar. View program description at the FDR Conference website.

  1. The Dana Measure of Financial Cost of Organizational Conflict
  2. The Dana Survey of Conflict Management Strategies
Send a blank email to fdr@mediationworks.com to receive:
  • User ID and Password to access these instruments
  • Interpretive Guide for understanding your individual results
  • Formula for calculating the return-on-investment (ROI) in conflict management training

Each respondent will receive a summary of results by September 15, 2006.

All federal employees are invited to attend the next Certification Conference in Managing Workplace Conflict in Washington DC, or in other cities.
